There are two available powertrains. The first is a standard one that uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The hybrid system is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that works in cooperation with an electric motor. The turbo engine can generate 190 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of torque. These are both solid numbers that should make it satisfying to drive around the Broomfield area. The hybrid powertrain produces a more robust 212 horsepower.

Note that a 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid comes standard with all-wheel drive. When you select the standard powertrain, all-wheel drive is an option w. The exception is that the top-of-the-line Touring trim automatically comes with all-wheel drive.

Another factor that makes the 2022 Honda CR-V attractive to drivers in the Denver area is its size. While it has a somewhat compact body, it manages to offer quite a bit of interior space. Rear-seat passengers can enjoy having 40.4 inches of legroom. Behind those seats, the dedicated cargo area has a volume of nearly 40 cubic feet. You can expand the cargo capacity to around 75 cubic feet by folding the rear seats down.

Trim Levels

We carry five trims at our dealership, and all of them have Honda Sensing technologies. Honda Sensing is a safety package that consists of driver-assist systems that can come in handy on occasion. Collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, and lane keeping assist are some of the programs that are included in the package. Further, many trims also have blind-spot and rear cross-traffic monitoring. When it's hard to see behind you, you'll appreciate having an extra pair of eyes.

All of our trim levels also have Bluetooth® compatibility and Pandora, plus least one USB port, and a 12-volt power outlet. Every trim, with the exception of the first one in the lineup, has a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Many have SiriusXM and HD Radio as well. If you love your technology, you'll be impressed by the Touring. It has navigation with Honda HD Digital Traffic as well as wireless charging and a nine-speaker sound system.

There are a few other ways in which the trims can be differentiated from each other. The LX is the most affordable, and it has remote entry and halogen headlights. The Special Edition is upgraded with heated front seats and the advanced infotainment system that was just described.

In the middle of the lineup, the EX features a moonroof, LED fog lights, and heated side mirrors. The EX-L and Touring both have power tailgates, auto-dimming rearview mirrors, and leather upholstery. The Touring is where you'll find navigation, a heated steering wheel, parking sensors, and a hands-free tailgate.
